BETHLEHEM — You can apparently never have too many Friends.
Especially when they sell Cowboy Steak Tacos, Killer Brownies and The Revenge of Monte Cristo.
The Gateway at University Parkway announced on its Facebook page late Wednesday night that it plans to add Friends American Grill to its growing roster of restaurants. The restaurant chain is expected to open on Exchange Boulevard, facing Ga. Highway 316, at the Bethlehem shopping center in the third quarter of 2015, officials from The Gateway announced.
“This past year, Suzanne [Cartwright] and I have opened Friends Buford Grill and Friends Winder Grill and the reception has been great,” said Friends c0-owner Ray Stanjevich in a statement released by The Gateway. “Our growth is based on quality food, first and foremost.
“And, as more people find out about us and appreciate what Friends has to offer, we intend on continuing to build more Friends locations,” he added.
Friends has five existing locations in Dacula, Suwanee, Buford, Winder and Dawsonville. The original location, in Dacula, opened in 2010. A location opened at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville last year.
When the Bethlehem location opens, it will join several other restaurants at The Gateway, including Longhorn Steakhouse, Dunkin Donuts, Moe’s Southwestern Grill and Keba Sandwiches.
